I’m Angela!

Why me? I love officiating!

I have over nine years of experience. I will go above and beyond to ensure that you have your ceremony your way.

Being a natural organiser, I am happy being in charge –  it’s my natural state of being – but I am also happy working within a team. I am great with detail and love a list!

I am a bit (no, a lot, if I am being honest) of a perfectionist. I pay attention to detail and appreciate quality. However, I am also relaxed, motivated, and have a good heart.

I am passionate about my role and committed to the couples and families I work with. I like to think that I am approachable and welcoming. I make a conscious effort to ensure that I am always friendly and ready to listen.

With any life event, time is what you deserve, and I give you time in abundance. I take time to understand your wants and needs and to understand you as a couple and a family. I can offer ideas, guidance, and experience. It’s your ceremony, but we journey together. I can adapt to your needs while making suggestions if necessary.

Through the Open Sanctuary, I am authorised to conduct legal weddings anywhere in Scotland. Castles, estates, and gardens are some of my favourites.

We contacted Angela 33 days before our wedding was due to take place. Angela was great! She provided reassurance and support throughout the short timescale we had to arrange our day. She even helped us bring the wedding forward a day 48 hours before! She helped us to put together the perfect ceremony that was both personal and meaningful to us. Angela was always available for any questions we had and made us feel comfortable and at ease on the big day. Would highly recommend!

Even when our original plans had to change Angela helped us make our ceremony just as special and it reflected us as a couple perfectly.
